Listed below are two SPAM filters that run very well with Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express. They also work well with other e-mail software but you should consult the manufacturer's web site for specifics on the other packages they support.

Qurb was the most simple to set up and use. Qurb works like CallerID for e-mail. During installation, Qurb scans your contacts folder and your e-mail folders to create a list of approved senders with whom you communicate.

Spam Bully was very simple to install and used a very simple wizard to set up your mail for initial use. It has several options you can implement once you set up the software such as statistics of good mail versus bad mail, what country the SPAM came from, etc.

Spam Bully uses a Bayesian spam filter based on over 20,000 spam messages. It then uses a self learning filter which learns from every new message received and sent enabling it to conform to your email habits.
